Punk rock comes to Chattanooga.
December 5, 1984
We started to get real DIY rock shows in Chattanooga in 1984. The shows were at Dale's, a little sandwich shop in a strip mall. It had clown pictures on the walls but Dale would tack paper skull decorations on them, to make it punk. I never got a sandwich there or heard of anybody else doing so either.
