the freelancer in winter

I’ve been out of town some, then I got back here and the weather’s been cold and wet, and I’m working from home, and today I had a client meeting. I shaved for it. I hope I did OK with that. (Meeting seemed to go really well, actually, if I can base my opinion on my previous lifestyle that involved contact with people.)

Then when I drove to the meeting, there were, like, big new buildings on the way that I hadn’t seen before. I fear I may be living in a cave. I still have eyes, I haven’t evolved that much, I need some Vitamin D though.

I will at least put on a raincoat, and of course shoes, and go for a walk today.
