what this guy Christopher Hesse has done is pretty incredible—you draw the edges of a thing and his program will fill in the drawing with photographic images of the thing it as learned from “looking” at pictures of the thing (in this case, cats).
Here’s an example of how it’s supposed to work, with a nice edge-filled drawing of a kitten.
