little arts

These are just little “artworks” that are scatttered about my house. I’m gonna try to Marie Kondo them unless someone complains. This post is just to commemorate their artistic existence.

I threw away a small nice gift that was given in a spirit of “I got you something, I saw it and thought you’d like it, if you don’t, don’t keep it”. At times I wish I were Japanese, I wish there were clear etiquette for divestiture. I I like this thing and I think of the giver when I see it, but I don’t love the thing and I do love the giver. I don’t want the thing, it’s not useful. It was just a thing. Can I let it go, do I need to do more? Should I go get it back?

I love moving but it’s a lot of work.
